Presentation Overview

Dr. Ken’s presentations are designed to be engaging, easy to host, and accessible for a wide range of senior audiences. Each program blends vivid photography with real stories, approachable pacing, and a warm, conversational style. Whether the topic is world travel or lighthearted storytelling, the goal is always the same: an enjoyable shared experience for the whole group.

Audience Fit

Armchair Travel programs combine stunning photography with stories from real-world adventures, focusing on culture, landscapes, people, and unexpected moments from the journey. These work beautifully for:

  • Independent Living
  • Assisted Living
  • Senior Centers
  • Libraries and community groups

Silly Stories programs are especially welcoming for Memory Care and mixed-ability audiences, using familiar rhythms, gentle humor, and simple, colorful visuals to create a comforting experience. These programs have been shared in Memory Care settings, where residents—including those with significant memory challenges—respond with smiles, laughter, and genuine enjoyment.

Dr. Ken Talks dive deeper into ideas and discoveries, offering clear explanations, engaging visuals, and thoughtful storytelling for audiences who love to learn and understand the world more richly.

Length and Pacing

Most presentations run 30 minutes, depending on the group’s needs, followed by discussion and questions. The pace is relaxed, with plenty of time to enjoy images, follow the narrative, and experience each place or story without rushing.

Technology and Room Setup

A screen or television is preferred. Dr. Ken brings all equipment, including a projector, stand, and cables. Dr. Ken can also bring a portable screen, if needed.

A dim room improves photo visibility, but no special equipment or technical setup is needed. Try to avoid strong backlighting as this makes it harder for the audience to see the slides.

For best engagement, seating can be arranged to allow participants to sit comfortably within view of the screen. Small rooms, large rooms, and multipurpose spaces all work well.
